This past February, MCAD MFA candidates (Shoshana Fink ’22, Ali Yager ’23, and Alexis Schramel ’23) and friends visited Franconia Sculpture Park for a free snowshoe tour guided by Franconia’s Executive Director & Chief Curator Ginger Shulick Porcella. Participants traversed the snow-covered prairie and viewed contemporary sculptures, afterwards they were greeted with hot drinks and snacks around a bonfire at Franconia Commons.

Shout out to Ginger, Don, and Jo for having us! Co-organizer Alexis Schramel also received funding from MCAD’s Student Union for a donation to Franconia for their generosity in helping us with this fun field trip.
