BIO 

I am a freelance animator who owns my own business called Lux Studios LLC where I specialize in hand-drawn character animation, both traditional and puppet-based. I also work regularly as a contractor at Target Corp where I work on the motion graphics team. I’ve taught Intro to Animation as an adjunct faculty at MCAD for 3 years. I am also a board member of the Minnesota animation community “Nice Moves”.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

I love teaching because I feel like I can relate to what the students are going through, as an MCAD alumni. I am incredibly passionate about animation and I love to show others how to create their own vision through techniques that I have learned. I myself struggled to get into the industry and wished I had had a mentor to help me navigate the creative industry, and so I’d love to be able to help others with my experience and knowledge.
