BIO 

I am Li Zeng. I am a Silicon Valley based designer, entrepreneur, and most of all, learner. I create end-to-end digital experience. Currently, I am a product (UI/UX) design manager at Carta, an equity management company based in San Francisco bay area.

As a first-generation college student, I believe in the power of education and lifelong growth. I am passionate about creating impact through product, design, and entrepreneurship. I achieve that through building products and advising early-stage startups on their branding, product, and design.

Prior to Silicon Valley, I taught design at two universities. I co-created a series of children’s books called Little Launchers, founded Peach Plum Lab, and hosted a podcast called Spark Creators to empower creators & entrepreneurs of all ages.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

Previously as a design professor, I strive to foster design leaders and strategic thinker through creative lenses. I care for and encourage students to pursuit what they are passionate about and what drives them. While encouraging students take challenging problems and stretching goals, I will find help students find new ways, projects, people and resources to support their growth professionally. My goal is to connect with students and inspire them to see their future potentials years ahead. I also hope to network with more creatives in community from MCAD and potentially spark future collaboration.
