TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

My goal as a mentor is to help you figure out the right questions to ask of yourself and your work. I am there to think and talk with you about ideas and how they are made physical. We will look at how your work is connected to other artists, thinkers and disciplines. We will uncover problems, solve problems, probably create some new problems, refine craft, set goals, and create plans for moving forward. My role will be to assist you with the immediate concerns of the work, but more importantly, with developing your own process and skills that will serve you in all the work you make going forward.
