BIO 

Erin is a designer, fabricator, maker and thinker. She earned her BFA from MCAD in furniture design and a Masters of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago.

In addition to teaching at MCAD, Erin works as an independent contractor at the Target workshop designing and building prototype store fixtures, sets for photoshoots and installations for corporate events.

She is also the co-owner of Tandem Made- a furniture and product design company.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

As an educator, Erin believes in transparency, trust and collaborative learning. She is a process and material geek and loves experimenting and encouraging others to push the limits. The concept of play is largely integrated into her teaching philosophy as some of the best learning comes when you free yourself and have fun.
