BIO 

I’m a graphic designer and artist and technophile. In my creative work, whether its traditional drawing, motion design, or electronic music, I enjoy mixing the analogue with the digital, and often emphasize mistakes or glitches, dissonance and grime. This is a bit more challenging in my professional life as a graphic designer for a multilingual international television channel, as my work is expected to be neat and orderly and error-free. So: graphic designer by day, advocate of the aberrant by night! Finding the balance between these two creative worlds is exciting, however, and I’ve learned to enjoy the dynamic spaces where the opposing sides bleed into one another.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

I believe the path is the goal in life—it’s in the getting there that we learn the most. Reaching the destination allows greater perspective, but it’s not always the true victory. My favorite thing about people is hearing their stories. I want to understand the full spectrum of someone’s perspective and see where we meet, to know what brought us together in the moment, and consider where we’re traveling together next. Nothing makes me more inspired than new ideas and concepts. It’s important to me to encourage others to be the best version of themselves and to follow their paths with diligence and respect, wherever each path may lead, and to remind them to take a moment from time to time to consider the ground they’re walking upon.
