On Friday December 9, 2016, to cap off the fall semester, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design Master of Fine Arts program hosted our annual Open Studio Night event — the second one of its kind in our new studio and gallery building!

People from throughout our community came to explore the work of our forty-two artists and designers and meet us in our studio environments. The evening includes live student performances, music, and refreshments.

Disciplines include:
Comic Art / Drawing / Filmmaking / Furniture Design / Graphic Design / Illustration / Installation / Painting / Paper and Book Arts / Performance / Photography / Printmaking / Sculpture

We would like to offer special thanks to all of our generous donors of food and beverage, MCAD Academic Services and MCAD Public Safety for their help and incredible presence throughout the night, and to our MCAD MFA students who “rocked it” like champions and put on a show to remember.
