This week marked the culmination of the Research Presentations by second year MFA students, who have been incredibly busy this semester with thesis and critique among other professional activities. Each student successfully presented and defended their topic of research before an audience. With this they advanced into the next phase of the thesis experience which involves making work for the thesis show to be held on May 15, 2020.
This year, we have students working in the fields of illustration, comic arts, interactive media, graphic design, installation, interdisciplinary arts, as well as drawing/painting. These diverse artistic tastes gave rise to stimulating presentations where the candidates presented their semester-long research from their respective fields of practice. Following is a list of our thesis candidates this year :

The culminating show will be held in the MFA building this coming May, and we now look forward to seeing how each one progresses in their making processes.
