Contracts and Intellectual Property

Ruth Rivard (she/her), Partner at Stinson LLP, joins us to discuss contracts and intellectual property. Ruth serves as counselor, protector and enforcer for her client’s intellectual property rights, providing strategic and thoughtful advice and zealous representation in court with an eye towards clients’ business goals and practical resolution. There will be question and answer time at the end.
Project Management Careers

Lauren Wilcox ’13, Project and Process Manager at Ikos, and Allison Brown ’16, Project Manager at EverCommerce, join us to discuss project management careers, including how their MFA studies have influenced their current roles. There will be question and answer time at the end.
Working from a background of fine arts, Lauren Wilcox is a certified Professional Scrum Master focused on partnering with teams to advance learning mindsets and craft Scrum and Agile solutions that work for them.
Allison Brown is an interdisciplinary artist and writer also working in the digital marketing and project management space. She has worked within the non-profit and SaaS space alike, including such clients as Music for All, Kunstverein Schwerin (GER), Schedulicity, Montana State University’s Bozeman campus, and most recently with EverCommerce out of Denver, Colorado.
