This October, second-year sculptor Samantha Russell flew from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh, PA to attend the 26th annual International Sculpture Conference–Sculpture in Context: Tradition and Innovation. The event brought together “artists, arts administrators, curators, patrons, students, and sculpture enthusiasts for exciting programming on contemporary sculpture.”
Russell’s piece, entitled “Searching,” was exhibited at the show for more than 300 conference participants to see. And she was in good company!
