MFA Drawing and Painting candidate Michaela Chorn was accepted this month into the In.Art Show, a juried and judged art competition complete with show opening and awards ceremony, at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in Wyoming, MN. Chorn joined a list of 69 participants who competed for $3600 in awards for excellence in art. Chorn’s piece is entitled “Smoke (from the Hair series)” 2016, and hangs 72″x42.”

From the Hallberg center, “The Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community was formed by an alliance of artists, musicians, performers, photographers, and writers, with a goal of enriching the quality of life in the Wyoming area by facilitating inspirational venues where regional, national, and international cultural activities can illuminate, educate, and entertain.”

The show will remain on display through October 1st. Worth the drive from the cities!
