Maria Tinaut

Making it Work As An Artist

How do artists make it work when they don’t have access to the ideal resources. Artist Maria Tinaut will talk about her adaptive and shifting practice and how she makes it happen regardless of the situation. María Tinaut is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY and Valencia, Spain.

Tinaut received her BFA from Polytechnic University of Valencia and her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her undergraduate education at the Akedemie Der Bilbende Kunste in Munich, Germany. She has attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and Atelier Salzamt, Austria, and has been nominated for the Follow Fluxus After Fluxus Fellowship in Wieswaden, Germany.
