Sarah Faye McPherson / 2016 Thesis Candidate

May 1, 2016

Sarah Faye McPherson explores ideas of impermanence and the connections she sees between three distinct spaces: nature, architecture, and the digital realm. She is fascinated by the concept of a mediated experience—where the digital realm, architectural space, and the natural world all collide to create a contemporary vocabulary relying on the cyclicality of these realms to create connectivity and meaning.

Through her curation and installation of these various mediums, Sarah Faye reiterates the notion of a mediated experience, and blurs these different realms—nature, architecture, and the digital realm—recombining them in an integrated space.

Be sure to join us on Friday, May 13th at our new MFA Graduate Studios to enjoy Heidi’s thesis work along with the other 2016 graduates.
