This month, graphic designer Qiuwen Li, MFA ’16, has several pieces on display at Minneapolis’ TractorWorks building in the North Loop neighborhood of downtown. Once a John Deere tractor factory, the prominent office building is a piece of fascinating Minneapolis history.
“Renovations boast polished concrete, frosted glass, oxidized steel, and contemporary fabrics through the space, an aesthetic that when paired with the original brick and timber design illustrates the energetic union of past and future.” In 2008, it rebranded and gained its new name, and the interior has been showcasing artists’ works ever since.
