This summer, MCAD MFA mentor and MCAD Illustration faculty member Jaime Anderson was selected to participate in ArtCrank 2016: Art That Loves Bikes.

Anderson has illustrated for a wide range of advertising clients and  publications, including The Star Tribune, MinnPost, Dish Network, Hour Detroit, The Wall Street Journal, American Express, Eugene Weekly, and Oregon Business Magazine. Her work has been recognized in DPI Magazine, Applied Arts Magazine, American Illustration, CMYK, Creative Quarterly, and the Society of Illustrators West.

With her original poster, “Awake the Lake,” Anderson joined 49 other artists in creating work related to ArtCrank’s quintessentially-Minneapolis theme. The event, hosted by Fulton Brewing Company in the Northeast neighborhood, was the organization’s 10th annual gathering, and was a smashing success.
