Every year the Walker Art Center selects ten Minnesotan artists to be cognizant of in the upcoming year through their mnartists.blog. This year was rather special in that four of the artist chosen were MCAD alumni, two of which were MFA alumni from the previous year – Lauren Thorson and Lea Sorrentino.
