Sneak Peek! Earlier this month, painter Leslie Barlow was visited in her Whittier studio by the crew of MN Original, to be filmed for an episode of their award-winning weekly artist series. The series “celebrates Minnesota’s creative community, across all disciplines and all cultures, and increases awareness of Minnesota artists, arts organizations and arts venues.”
Leslie’s work uses the figure and narrative elements to talk about issues related to multiculturalism, “otherness,” and identity. The MCAD MFA community is proud to be represented by Leslie through this outstanding organization, and we congratulate Leslie on her success.
Catch her on MN Original Season 7 in early 2016. The episode will be featured on Twin Cities Public Television, which broadcasts throughout the state, and will also be available for view on the MN Original website. Specific date and time TBA.
