This winter, MCAD MFA painting alum Casey Opstad, ’11, completed an Artist Residency at General Assembly. Since graduating from MCAD, he has been the artist-in-residence at several companies, including GA, Bitly, and Quotidian Ventures. His work with GA spans from Boston to L.A., in their Little Tokyo location.

GA is a global community with a mission to end the skills gap. Their new Boston Campus is now covered in Opstad’s stunning, large-scale black and white chalk works.
